Inja Koja (2019)

Inja Koja (Farsi for “where are we now”) is a participatory project that asks its users both in Iran and abroad, where do we situate ourselves within a non-linear understanding of time?

Propositions to users so far have been to define what home, here and future mean to them. Responses are uploaded on Instagram which becomes an ‘open book’ for members of various Iranian communities to interpret. Through collective discourse, perhaps the generational gap among other gaps between Iranians both within the nation and abroad can be deconstructed.
